Tilly's story
Tilley is a triumphant tripod. She doesnt let anything like a missing limb get her down (or up for that matter). Tilly ended up at the SPCA with an infected wound on her left front leg so OAR to the rescue. The infection was so bad that her leg needed to be amputated. She is all healed now and adjusting and getting around purrfectly fine.
Tilly went to a foster home while her leg healed and her foster mom says Tillys personality was her favorite thing about her. She is very sweet and laid back. She said Tilly doesnt mind being picked up and is such a cuddler. She actually seemed to like tummy rubs and would roll over on her back for you to have easier access. Her favorite thing to do was to settle in for the evening on the sofa with them and watch television. Tilly also loved helping in the kitchen and was very vocal when interacting with her humans. Tilly was around a four-year old several times and she was very friendly with the child; even snuggling on the couch with him. Tilly had multiple interactions with the resident cats and did very well with them. She did sometimes hiss and growl, but just to communicate her comfort level. On multiple occasions Tilly joined their crew on the couch for naps or cuddles. She did prefer to be by herself, but was not bothered by the presence of other cats.
Why not give a 3-legged girl a chance at happiness in your loving home? She truly is a lovely lass.
