Beautiful, ridiculously affordable, meticulously maintained, and private, this rural cabin is situated beside Eagle Creek, one of the Ohio River's premier deepwater fishing and boating feeder streams.
Amish-built, this charming cabin has its own 20-foot-long dock and sleeps four adults very comfortably.
Here you have many of the comforts of home as you enjoy nature and outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, wildlife photography, and biking.
The one-night rate (Sun-Th) is $90.
The weekend requires a two night stay and is $220 (Fri noon-Sun 3pm).
Midweek (Sun-Th) is $300.
Weekly rate (Sun-Sun) is $500. There is a $15 per person/per night charge for any group over four persons.
(Children under 5 are exempted.) Dogs are allowed with prior permission, but there is a $10/night fee for each dog.
Sleeping accommodations include one queen-sized bed with memory foam mattress and pillows and 500-count sheets, a 7-foot-long futon with extra-plush mattress, and a sleeping loft with a full-size mattress (also with memory foam) and a full-size air mattress.
Eagle Creek Country Cabin is non-smoking.
Guests have full access to the 1.5 acres and miles of scenic creek. The local area has many National Historic Landmarks from the Civil War era. You will also find award-winning wineries, antique shopping, many excellent restaurants, and four golf courses within a 30-minute drive!
A two-person pedal boat is available to renters.
Also available are an outdoor propane gas grill, a corn hole game, a stone fire pit with four benches, a new dock with swimming ladder, a 24-foot covered porch with iron patio table and rocker chairs, a detached covered car port, a public boat launch ramp one-half mile downstream, a 32-inch flat screen TV with DISH satellite and a full library of DVDs and VHS tapes, dozens of popular fiction and non-fiction books, and miles of private lanes ideal for walking.
Only dates still available in September are the 8th, 16th, 17th, and 29th.
