Adelle's story
Adelle originally came from Philadelphia. She was in a shelter there and it was thought that she might have a better chance of finding a loving, forever home through OAR, so she hopped the Cincinnati transport that was chauffeured by one of our vet techs and now resides in the lobby. Adelle may have eaten one too many Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches as she is currently a plus-size gal. She doesnt have a problem with it, so she doesnt think you should either. Adelle enjoys head and ear scratching and will give your hands head butts to let you know please dont stop. She can also be a little quirky and will let you know please dont do that. But most of the time shes very social and enjoys human companionship. Adelle spends most of her day at OAR watching the break area from the comfort of a chair (most of the time she is asleep on the job). She does periodically stroll around the lobby and visits with whomever she can interest. It is felt that Adelle would purrfur, and be happiest, to be your one-and-only in a quieter home.
So, if you are looking for someone to press the wrinkles out of your sheets or keep a warm spot on your sofa, Adelle is more than qualified for the position -- the reclining position that is. Female Gingers are special and so is Adelle!
